Dr. Ray Michelle Mitchell, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with an illustrious career that spans over two decades. Specializing in comprehensive family practice, Dr. Mitchell has devoted their life to providing patient care for individuals at all stages of life. After a nine-year journey in solo private practice, Dr. Mitchell joined a federally qualified health center, taking on roles as Medical Director and eventually Chief Medical Officer.

Throughout their career, Dr. Mitchell has been driven by a passion to deliver outstanding health care to communities grappling with homelessness, financial hardship, and social marginalization. At Spectra, they ardently pursue health equity, gender-affirming care, and sexual health as central tenets of their practice. Dr. Mitchell firmly upholds the conviction that access to health care is a right for everyone, not a privilege.
